About us

After living in different places abroad we decided to settle our family life in Bruges. City life is my big love and passion. I do agree with Jan Gehl, a Danish architect who once said: "A good city is like a good party - people stay longer than really necessary because they are enjoying themselves". My life has been and continues to be such an amazing ride. I'm fortunate to do the things I love and running my own B&B is one of them.

Location

Right in the historical city centre of Bruges, 4B B&B Brugge is perfectly located to discover the most beautifull places, musea and monuments, all within walking distance (5 minutes to the Market and Belfry). In contrast to the medieval character of the city, 4B B&B Brugge has been fully renovated into a modern, minimalistic guesthouse. Even without a door number you can't miss it – with its big weathered steel plate on the front façade. Guests’ bedrooms are located in a separate part at the back of the house. The property was selected for a national renovation project, "My house, my architect". Our street, Genthof, where you will be staying with us, is known for its art galleries and well-established auction house. At the beautiful Jan Van Eyck place, where the street starts, it is the perfect spot to enjoy a quiet view of the canals. Our neighbourhood can be described with just three words: history, canals, authenticity.

Rooms

Our rooms offer a king size double bed, en-suite bathroom with rain-shower, hairdryer, separate toilet, flat-screen TV with free channels and radio, WiFi internet access and coffee and tea facilities. Guests can also enjoy the patio with a table for 4 dedicated to both rooms.

You will find throughout the guesthouse some contemporary art and photography, and an art gallery is located just across the street. We will gladly recommend where you can find the best chocolate, beer and restaurants that Bruges has to offer.

Breakfast

Every morning you can enjoy breakfast in our dining room, with a focus on local and homemade products. We offer tea or freshly brewed coffee, orange juice, natural yoghurt, fresh fruit salad and homemade granola. We also offer traditional bread and rolls with a local farm butter, homemade jam and ham & cheese.
